Re: August 7th WotR/LotR SBG EVENT
Looks like I will be heading out there a it earlier than last expected. I should be there around 2.
What are we looking at for a Roll Call?
I believe it is: Midloo King Koopa Stubby
I would definitely ,like to demo LoTR (I have a sizeable Mordor army I will be bringing). What time are we thinking of Demoing? I would also like to get in a game of WoTR or 8th edition (I plan to bring my Warriors of Chaos as well). If there are not too many takers for a game then I would like to know.

I should be there as well. I will have my Mordor there as well (really wanted to have Rohan ready, and can probably do that at much smaller LotR points).

I thought it was Misty. That is the place where your tournament is held right Ben?
I might be getting there even earlier. Again, 8th WoC in tow so let me know when people are arriving and if they are interested in a game.

It is Misty. Details are in the first post.
Looks like it will be a smallish group with Gen Con, but I'm looking forward to seeing you guys and getting some LotR in.

Re: August 7th WotR/LotR SBG EVENT
Thanks Midloo, Koop and Ben. I played my first 8th edition game with Ben and had a great LoTR demo with Koop (darn endless wave of goblins). Then Midloo and I had a more challengind game with Dwarfs and Radagast vs Mordoer Orcs in a rather fun scenario. It realy showed the tactical possibilities with a skirmish game like LoTR: SBG that I was not really aware of.
I look forward to palying more LoTR: SBG in betweent WoTR games.
Thanks again!

Re: August 7th WotR/LotR SBG EVENT
Hey thanks for coming out Stubbs... now that you and Koops have taken the plunge, expect invites to more LotR stuff It was a great time. The second SBG game was a lot of fun. It was close and well-balanced as they almost always are. Smart play won the day in your case - I just didn't move my two forces into range on your horde fast enough. Well done!

I still need to get into that sometime. It was my anniversary weekend so I didn't come down this time.
