I've been talking with a friend and with Johnny Cees about setting up a Wausau League. I haven't gotten a confirmation with Johnny Cees yet, but I'm thinking the league could be run using their tables since they are open all the time. (but of course I'll have to make sure he's ok with it first) As it breaks down, he's talking with someone about trying to get more tournaments ran out of his store as well.

Anyhow, I thought I'd post on here with just the possiblity of a league to see what the interest might be. I see there's a building league that started in Point Nov. 1st. We'd be looking at running 2k starting early to mid Jan. Depending on how many people we have will determine how long it takes. I'm not sure if we're doing an entry fee yet, but I'm thinking it'll be nominal, just enough to cover prizes if Johnny Cees is unable to provide. Cool! When do you guys usually play? How often?

A few of us usually play every Sunday, but I'd love to get a weeknight kinda thing going if we can get enough people together for it.

Wanted to throw and update out here about the league. For the Wausau boys (Snake Eyes, Box Cars) An every other Sunday would work out for us at the local store, Johnny Cees. They usually have MTG on Sunday there as well, but there's plenty of room. We've also brought up the possibility of a joint league with Steven Point. Swapping towns every other time.
