If you are looking for Warhammer Fantasy Battles
opponents, but are unsure where to find them, then look no further. The Wisconsin Warhammer Fantasy Battles League was
developed to bring players from across Wisconsin together. We run three league terms per year for those who want to
compete for the honor of top general. In addition, we offer a wealth of other events such as Rogue Trader Tournaments,
Bring and Battles, mega battles and campaigns.
WHAT IS THIS WWHFB LEAGUE?
The Wisconsin Warhammer Fantasy Battles (WWHFB) League is a group of avid and part-time Warhammer players throughout
Wisconsin who get together for the sole purpose of supporting and improving the game of Warhammer. We have groups throughout
Wisconsin - probably in a city near you!
WHAT? WAIT A MINUTE!!! JUST WHAT I NEED...ANOTHER LEAGUE THAT I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR?
Good news... that is not what we are about. Our founder, Mike Marko, tried to put together a vision for a club that
offered a wide variety of services to the various wants and needs of the Warhammer player. He is quoted as saying:
"
You can play in the league at any time, anywhere, anyway you like. There are no obligations other than to play Warhammer (pretty
easy enough, huh?). You just sign up with your name, city (state), army, phone
number, email, and army general's name (this is for the battle reports). Then it is up to you to schedule games against other
league members and then report the results. You can play as many games as you like. Basically the league is a forum for players to
meet each other, with a competition for those willing to play a lot of games."

WHO STARTED ALL THIS?
Mike Marko originally started this as a way to draw people back into Warhammer Fantasy Battles. His famous quote has always
been, "The first hit's free!!" Most of us should know since he really got a lot of us into it. However Mike
has moved on to greener pastures in New York for a job move. However he is still very involved in Warhammer and still haunts
